High March is a very happy and thriving independent day school for girls aged 3-11 in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

A smooth transition

We provide a smooth transition from your daughter’s Nursery with Stay & Play and Meet the Teacher sessions; our Early Years staff also visit new pupils in their current settings in preparation for them joining us.

From the moment a girl joins us, she is welcomed into our warm and vibrant community and, in no time at all, she will feel part of the High March family. Our fundamental aim is for your daughter to feel happy and secure as she embarks on her journey to become a confident and well-rounded young woman.

Skilled, experienced & caring staff

We have two parallel Reception classes with highly experienced staff. Each Reception class has its own dedicated Teaching Assistant.

A broad curriculum

We provide a fantastic early years curriculum with a real focus on the individual. With our small class sizes, the girls have plenty of personal attention and they are able to make outstanding progress.

Specialist teaching

In Reception, our girls benefit from specialist teaching each week in a number of subjects, such as Swimming, PE, Music, French, and optional Ballet; they also have Forest School in the summer term. Swimming takes place all year round in our impressive, on-site, indoor 20-metre swimming pool.

Wraparound care options available

We provide wraparound care for busy parents from 8.00am to 5.30pm, free of charge. We also have our ‘Up with the Larks’ breakfast club from 7.30am and ‘Late Stay’ from 5.30pm to 6.00pm (both of which incur a small charge). An action-packed holiday camp operates during the school holidays.
