A good result for our Year 6 footballers

On Wednesday 27th September, the Year 6 A&B Teams played a fixture at Maltman’s Green. Excitement levels were high as the girls set off on the minibus for their first football fixture of the year.

The girls played a 6v6 match so that everyone was involved. They were soon into the swing of things and they all worked really hard during their games. The goalkeepers volunteered (Olivia and Madison) and were tested with shots against them. Everyone worked well in their teams, displaying good skills and teamwork.

The A Team result was 1-1, with Ava scoring well – Cara was the captain. Ava was also voted Player of the Match (POM) by the opposition.

The B Team also had a good win 2-3, with Madison getting voted POM in goal and she also captained her team. Anoushka was very happy with her hat trick, with excellent assists from all her teammates.

A very enjoyable match for the girls and a good result! Well done, girls!
