Honouring their memory

On Monday 11th November, the whole of Upper School joined together for a special Armistice Day Assembly.  The Year 6 Drama Prefects, Lamorna and Eloise, recited ‘The Soldier’ by Rupert Brooke and Senior High March Voices gave a beautiful rendition of ‘For The Fallen’ by Peter Thompson.  Our Assembly concluded with Mr Hayes playing The Last Post for the girls.

Later in the morning, Year 5 joined with other local schools to participate in Beaconsfield’s community Armistice service.  Kate and Jeena laid a wreath on behalf of High March School and Anjali, Sophie and Giaan read Psalm 46 to the assembled crowd.

All of the Year 5 girls were excellent ambassadors for High March.
