A podium finish for our Year 6 triathletes

On a sunny Sunday 17th May, eleven High March girls travelled to the stunning Wiltshire countryside to compete in the IAPS Triathlon. 

This is the most challenging of our triathlon competitions and not for the faint hearted. The team snaked around the pool then cycled through twists and turns before finally running laps around rolling hills.

The three rookie Year 5s took to the course first and, despite being a little tired after their residential trip, they still managed to secure 4th team position overall. Congratulations!

The Year 6s went into battle next. Lining up alongside royalty, all eight of our team left every ounce of energy on the course. We had some amazing personal achievements and three of our team gave particularly strong performances to secure High March third place on the podium.
