A Bear Hunt
11.10.2023
The Wrens and Robins have settled beautifully into Nursery over the last few weeks. They have become used to being away from their home environment, made new friends and are now familiar with their timetable.
Our topic for this half term has been “Bears” and the children have had plenty of fun reading bear stories, making a bear mask, acting out the story of Goldilocks and making some delicious teddy bear biscuits! At the end of last week, we read the story “We’re going on a bear hunt”. We used sensory bottles for all the various sounds we hear as the story progresses: the children particularly liked using rice to make the sound of the ‘swishy, swashy’ grass!
Well done, Nursery Wrens and Robins, for settling into Nursery so quickly.
