A busy Christmas Fayre
25.11.2019
The spirit of Christmas was very much in evidence at our Christmas Fayre on Saturday, November 23, proving to be a big hit with parents and children alike despite the disappointing weather.
At Upper School, we had the ever-popular chocolate tombola, the hampers and craft stall, amongst others, and this year we had a new attraction, a Dry Ice activity, which had a lot of interest. There was also a number of stalls run by the girls, namely the House Captains and Vice-Captains, the Games Captains and the JRSOs and these all attracted many visitors.
At Junior House, Santa and his elves were kept busy all morning with visits from excited children. There were plenty of other activities on offer for the younger children too, for example face and nail painting, gingerbread decorating and the competition to guess the number of sweets in the jar.
We would like to thank all parents and, in particular, members of the Social Group, who gave up so much of their time to ensure that this was, once again, a highly successful and enjoyable event.
