A Christmas swimming gala!

On 4 December, we held our annual Christmas-themed Swimming Gala, a much-loved tradition which brought together 77 enthusiastic swimmers from Years 3 to 6, along with many of our Development Squad girls. The swimmers were divided into four festive teams—Reindeers, Snowflakes, Baubles and Elves—and the poolside buzzed with excitement, team spirit and plenty of cheering. We are extremely grateful to the members of staff who volunteered their time to help ensure the smooth running of the event, as well as to our Swimming, Tri and Games Captains, whose organisation and marshalling on the day were invaluable. 

All the girls swam brilliantly, demonstrating impressive progress which was noted and praised by staff. After a very close competition, with no more than 5 points separating the teams, the final results were: Snowflakes in first place, Baubles second, Reindeers third and Elves fourth.

It was a fantastic afternoon of fun, energy and festive cheer—a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term and begin the Christmas break.
