A cross country win in difficult conditions
03.03.2020
Girls from Years 3 to 6 took part in a cold cross country race at Pipers Corner School yesterday.
The muddy terrain made for testing conditions, but all the girls rose to the challenge and really pushed themselves through each lap. Fortunately, we managed to finish all races before the rain and sleet arrived. The Year 4 and 5 teams won their age groups and the hard work of each girl paid off resulting in High March winning the competition overall. A special mention must go to Caroline, Mylah, Lucia and Annabel S in Year 4 who were placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively, not forgetting Hannah and Olivia in Year 5 who came 1st and 2nd.
A huge effort by everyone – well done.
