A day at the seaside for Year 1

Year One had a fantastic time during our Seaside Day. The day was filled with exciting activities and plenty of laughter as we explored what a traditional day at the seaside was like. The girls had great fun making postcards, Punch puppets, shell boxes, mugs and more. They enjoyed dressing up in old-fashioned seaside costumes and telling each other’s fortunes, for example having 95 giraffes as pets and appearing on television….! One of the highlights of the day was watching a Punch and Judy show performed by our parent volunteers – everyone laughed at the storyline and the puppets’ mischievous antics.

There were lots of traditional games to play including Hook-a-duck, roll-a-penny and spin the wheel. The girls could also play in the sand and buy their own souvenirs.
