A fantastic performance of ‘Aladdin’
This week Year 4 finally got to perform their production of Disney’s Aladdin – it was originally scheduled for the end of the Spring term in 2020 but had to be put on hold because of the pandemic.
The show transported us to the mystical streets of Agrabah where Aladdin, a homeless boy with a big heart, manages to win the heart of the Princess and change the ancient law to allow freedom and peace for all. The show was full of energy and magic featuring fantastic songs such as ‘Friend Like Me’ and ‘A Whole New World.’
The girls did a tremendous job of bringing this magical story to life and acted, sang and danced like true professionals. The costumes looked spectacular and the commitment and dedication shown by all was phenomenal. Special thanks go to Mr Hayes for his fantastic Musical Direction, Millie Honiball for her Assistant Direction, Mr Wright and Miss Bucknell for sound and lighting and Mr Honiball and the Maintenance team for a fantastic set. A special mention also goes to Mrs Wallington and Mrs Cook for their superb stage management.
It was a fantastic experience for the girls and we all cannot wait to share the DVD with you all.
