A fun-filled Christmas gala!

We recently hosted the High March Christmas Gala, featuring competitive swim squads from Years 3 to 6 alongside the Development Swimming Squad. This event marked the first major gala for Year 3, with the older swimmers guiding them through the experience.

The gala featured four teams: Reindeers, Snowflakes, Baubles and Elves. The competition was fierce, with every swimmer giving their best for their team. The Elves secured first place, while the Snowflakes and Reindeers tied for second, just three points behind. The Baubles came in fourth, only five points behind the joint second teams.

All the teams performed beautifully, showing their skills, their dedication and hard work. As to be expected, the girls were a little nervous at the start but they embraced the experience and demonstrated both initiative and excellent teamwork. Excitement levels grew as the gala progressed!

Congratulations to all the girls for their incredible efforts and special thanks must go to the  Swim Captains and Coordinators for ensuring the event ran smoothly.

We look forward to an exciting new year filled with more training and many thrilling galas ahead.
