A fun-filled spotty day at Junior House

20.11.2024

Last Friday, the children in Junior House enjoyed a fun-filled day of activity as they raised funds in support of Children in Need.

Earlier in the week, the Head Girls came to Junior House to lead an assembly explaining what Children in Need is and why funds are important.  They then highlighted the ways in which the girls could have fun and support the charity.

Children came to school dressed in ‘dotty mufti’ with lots of Pudsey Bears joining us for the day.  Pudsey merchandise was on sale and children enjoyed choosing and buying their items in support of the charity.  There was a colouring competition, best dressed competition, guess the number of sweets in a jar, name the teddy bear and a treasure hunt where the children had to search for hidden Pudsey Bears in the garden.  During lunchtime play, the girls played ‘pin the bandana on Pudsey’, ably supported by the head girls.

Our chef kindly iced a Pudsey biscuit for each child for their morning snack – a treat that went down very well with everybody.

At the end of the day, there was a range of home-baked, Pudsey-themed cakes on sale for the children.  The perfect end to a very happy day for everybody in Junior House.
