A joint concert with Davenies

On Tuesday, 27^th February the Year Six girls performed at the High March and Davenies Joint Concert at Davenies School, Beaconsfield.

The first half of the concert comprised some delightful solo items performed by talented pupils from both High March and Davenies. This was followed by all girls and boys combined to perform a selection of songs from Disney musicals. The girls worked very hard to prepare the songs in a short space of time, and they more than rose to the occasion performing to an appreciative and enthralled audience.

Congratulations to all the Year Six girls, with particular mention to Amberly, Annabel, Elisa, Elizabeth, Anoushka, Soraya, Annabelle, Naomi and Florence for their very accomplished solo performances. Mr Hayes, our Director of Music, would also like to extend his thanks to Mr Nicholas Pegden, Head of Music at Davenies, for his help in organising such an enjoyable event, and to Dr Andrew Melvin and Dr Elena Bridges for their wonderful piano accompanying.
