A Maths Challenge for Year 4
06.10.2021
Four of our mathematicians, Ava, Sanaya, Evani and Tove, represented High March at the Year 4 Maths Challenge held at Davenies School.
The event was attended by thirteen schools, each with at least two pairs of pupils competing. Over the course of the afternoon, the girls had to complete a number of mathematical tasks, many of which were against the clock. These included: tangram shapes, mystery numbers, sudoku, shopping lists and dominoes. The girls worked with determination and focus during all of the activities, thoroughly enjoying the afternoon.
Both High March pairs achieved excellent scores, with one pairing achieving second place overall.
Well done, girls!
