A Scarecrow with a difference
06.10.2020
“Scotch the Scarecrow” is a scarecrow with a difference, a “ Scare Go”! He wears a kilt and uses his special magic to soothe little children by banishing their scares away. Together with Hop, the bunny, he brightens everybody’s day.
Neil Dickinson, husband of Helen Dickinson, one of our swimming coaches and father of Maisie, one of our former swimming captains, is the author of “Scotch the Scarecrow”. He has kindly presented two copies of his delightful book to the High March library.
Nursery and Reception children have enjoyed hearing about how Scotch helps the children who might be anxious or unhappy turn their worries into happy feelings.
