A succesful night of swimming

On November 9th, High March took part in a gala against Godstowe. The race structure was different to the usual format of a gala and it meant that all girls had the opportunity to swim three individual races as well as the relays.

The High March squad was extremely eager to race and the girls were very focused during the warm-up. They swam brilliantly, particularly in light of the fact they were not all used to competing in some of these events.  In many of the individual races, we were placed 1st and 3rd; in the medley relays we were placed 1st and 2nd for all years whilst, in the freestyle relays, we were placed 1st and 2nd  for Years 4 and 5.

It was a great night of swimming and a special mention must go to Elizabeth P in Year 5 for her speed in the pool! A super win for us 201 to 257, the lowest score being the winning one.
