A very successful and enjoyable Daffodil Day

Daffodil Day was a great success! There was a sea of yellow, white and orange as children came to School dressed in ‘Daffodil’ colours.

At Upper School, girls enjoyed the different games on offer: Spin the wheel; Guess numbers of sweets in the jar; Name the teddy bear; Obstacle course. One of the popular games with the girls was to match up a teachers with his/her baby photo…!

Upper School girls were delighted to see plenty of cupcakes at break time – mostly home-made by our Daffodil girls – and they disappeared very fast indeed.

Children at Junior House did not miss out: they took part in a ‘Design a Daffodil’ competition.

A total of £469 was raised for the two charities Daffodil House is supporting this year, namely Marie Curie and Cats Protection.

Thank you to the House Captains and their parents for their help in organising the activities and thank you to everybody for their contributions.
