Adventure, teamwork and…some rain!
12.06.2025
Last week, on a bright and later, slightly rainy summer’s day, our Year 4 girls at High March embarked on an exciting trip to Phasels Wood Activity Centre in Abbots Langley – a day packed with adventure, teamwork, and a good dose of British weather!
The girls travelled to the centre by coach, full of excitement for the day ahead. The morning’s activities did not disappoint: they tackled the land zorbs, scaled the climbing wall, and got stuck into a variety of team challenges, each designed to build confidence, cooperation and a sense of fun. Spirits were high and energy levels even higher!
As the afternoon arrived, so did the rain but in true High March fashion, the girls adapted with smiles on their faces. With the land zorbs temporarily closed for safety, the group eagerly swapped into go-karting, which quickly became a highlight for many. Indoor spaces were transformed into hubs of activity, laughter and shared stories as the girls enjoyed their packed lunches and snacks together.
Another exciting moment of the day was the much-anticipated visit to the Phasels Wood shop, where souvenirs were carefully chosen and proudly carried home.
Despite the weather’s change of heart, the girls made the very best of every moment, showing enthusiasm, resilience and excellent behaviour throughout. Staff at the centre were quick to compliment them on their positive attitude and team spirit.
A huge thank you to the accompanying High March staff who helped make the day such a success.
A memorable day of adventure, laughter and learning – well done, Year 4!
