An entertaining visit from author and illustrator, Sav Akyuz

As part of our Book Week celebrations, we were fortunate to have a visit from the author/illustrator, Sav Akyuz. Mr Akyuz is an award-winning picture book illustrator, author and story board artist. He has worked on almost 2,000 television advertisements and several memorable campaigns for major brands.

In his engaging sessions, Mr Akyuz entertained the children and really got them thinking about characters and stories. The sessions were wonderfully interactive and energetic. They included artwork, dancing and discussion. We all thoroughly enjoyed the visit; the pupils went away enthused and excited about reading and creating!
