An introduction to Forest School

Nursery Wrens enjoyed their very first Forest School session recently, and what a wonderful adventure it was!

The children had great fun exploring the natural environment, eagerly searching for minibeasts hidden among the leaves and logs. They embraced imaginative, nature-based play, using sticks, mud and other natural materials to spark their creativity. A highlight of the session was visiting the pond, where the children carefully observed pond life and learned more about the creatures that live there.

Their first experience of Forest School was a fantastic introduction to outdoor learning, giving rise to curiosity, discovery and excitement.
