Author, Lucy Noguera, comes to visit

Years 1 to 3 were very fortunate to have had a visit yesterday from author, Lucy Noguera, who came to talk to us about the books she has written. Lucy explained that she has written one picture book and two chapter books.

Her picture book is all about saving the world and looking after our environment, encouraging us to think about the ways we can help protect our planet. Her chapter books tell the exciting adventures of a girl named Ernie and a tiny dog she finds called Swop. Together, they go on fun and imaginative adventures which really captured the children’s interest!

The girls absolutely loved having Lucy come to visit and were full of curiosity, asking her thoughtful and valuable questions about her stories, her writing process, and what it’s like to be an author. It was a truly inspiring visit which left many budding writers eager to pick up their pencils and start creating stories of their own!
