Celebrating Daffodil Day

23.03.2021

To celebrate Daffodil Day, girls came to School dressed in yellow, white or gold, creating a sea of yellow, which helped create a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the day. As is customary, Daffodil House was raising money for Marie Curie and, in addition this year, for Make A Wish.

In the morning we saw a gorgeous array of cakes and biscuits, all baked by the Daffodil Team. The staff would also like to say a huge thank you for these as a large number was donated to the staff room. a gesture which, as you can imagine, was very much appreciated! At break and lunch time we saw some fantastic and highly imaginative stalls including: Guess the Welsh Word; Guess the Cereal; and The Creme Egg Reveal! Thanks must go to Mrs Lewis and Mrs Jacobi and all the girls in Daffodil for their creativity.

Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and to everyone who donated money to the two very deserving charities. Daffodil Day was a fantastic success and much fun was had by all.
