Celebrating World Book Day

On Thursday 7th March, as part of our celebrations for Book Week, the children dressed up as their favourite book characters.  Everyone looked fantastic and we had a huge range of characters from many well-known children’s books.

It was wonderful to see all the lovely books our pupils obviously enjoy reading. Their outfits and costumes were so diverse and their enthusiasm for reading was obvious.

In Form time, each class had the opportunity to complete book-related activities as a follow up to our author visit last week. The children thoroughly enjoyed expressing their creativity and sharing their ideas with one another.
