Coming up roses!

Yesterday was the occasion of our Rose House Charity Fundraising Day with everyone dressing in red, pink or white to raise money for our house charities. 

In the run-up to the day, the Rose House Captain and Vice, Genie and Lucy, had been busy planning some exciting activities to entertain everyone throughout the day.  At morning break, pupils each received a delicious cake, donated by Rose House parents and the girls also took part in a ‘pick a rose’ competition.  At lunch break there were yet more activities for the girls, including; decorating a face mask; guessing the surname of Elmo the monster; and guessing the length of a strawberry lace.  The money raised will be donated to the two designated Rose House charities, namely World Vision and Crisis.

Well done, Roses, for organising such a fun day in aid of two very worthwhile charities.!
