Cricketing successes!

Last Monday, the Year 5 Cricket Teams had matches against Royal Masonic School (RMS) in the beautiful sunshine. The teams soon got into the swing of things and started batting brilliantly. We hit several 4s and lots of singles. It was then our time to field, and the girls worked hard to keep the runs and the score down.  They all did really well and managed to win both their games scores. Team 1 won 237-229 and Team 2 won 250-238.  

The following day, the Year 4 teams also played against RMS. The teams were soon into the swing of things and there was some brilliant batting on display. When the girls went into field, they worked well as a team and made some great catches. Team 1 won 247-211 and Team 2 won 223-214. 

Well done to all the girls who took part – we are very definitely looking forward to cricket club again next summer!
