Dressing up for World Book Day

On Thursday 5th March, as part of our celebrations for Book Week, the children dressed up as their favourite book characters.  Everyone looked amazing and we had a huge range of characters from many well-known children’s books.

It was wonderful to see all the lovely books our pupils obviously enjoy reading. Their outfits and costumes were so diverse and their enthusiasm for reading was obvious.

At breaktime, everyone took part in a Book Swap in the playground. This provided a great opportunity to try different genres and discover new authors, as well as encouraging sustainability.
