Excellent swimming from Year 3 and Year 4

Last week, some of our Year 3 and Year 4 swimmers took part in a swimming gala at St Piran’s.

After a short warm up, it was time to start competing against the girls and boys of St Piran’s. It was particularly pleasing to see that Year 3 are clearly ready for the more competitive swimming galas which lie ahead of them in Year 4. All our girls swam beautifully; the  improvement in style and timings as a result of their hard work over the past few months was clearly evident.

A special mention must go to Una for her perseverance and to Charlotte for taking the  initiative with the three cheers at the end of the gala.

Despite missing out on a win by just a couple of points, the girls can be proud of their performance and for being so supportive to one another throughout the gala.

Well done to our Year 3 and Year 4 swimmers!
