Excellent times for our Year 6 swimmers at the IAPS qualifier

Our Year 6 swimmers were unable to attend the London qualifiers just before half term due to a clash with the Year 6 ski trip, and so yesterday our swim coaches took Astrid, Annabelle S, Cara, Elisa & Elizabeth on their very own road trip to Shrewsbury School to compete in the final qualifying event.

A very early start and a long drive certainly didn’t hinder amazing performances from all the girls! The relay times were actually 15 seconds faster than their performance at the 2023 finals in the London Aquatic Centre. Individually, all the girls swam personal bests so we are now waiting to hear from IAPS if a place at the finals has been achieved.

To sum up: two proud coaches, five proud girls and, without a doubt, plenty of proud parents!
