Exploring Bekonscot

Our Reception classes were fortunate to enjoy a visit to the famous Bekonscot Model Village, based here in Beaconsfield, recently.

The girls were taken back in time to when Bekonscot started off as just a model railway in a garden. They were then taken on a journey through the ages, learning how it has changed and evolved into the magical place it is now. It was so exciting to learn the history and the girls were also able to appreciate how Beaconsfield has changed within this time. At the end of the visit, the girls were lucky enough to explore the grounds and to go on a hunt for mini High March.

It was such a wonderful experience and we learnt so much about our local community.
