Fantastic Sports Days!

We started off our Sports Days with the Nursery Robins and then the Nursery Wrens Sports Days. The children enjoyed racing in the sprint race, the beanbag and bat race, the quoit on head race and the dressing up race. Lots of fun was had by all and the children were delighted to each receive a medal. 

The following day, we started off with Junior House Sports Day in the morning and, fortunately, this year the weather was kind! The girls enjoyed working their way around the carousel and competing in all the events. Medals were awarded on the podium for the top 3 sprinters in each class and Year 2 enjoyed their relay races at the end for further medals. A big thank you to the Sports Captains and Head Girls for all their help. 

After the lunch break, it was time for Upper School Sports Day with shot put, javelin, long jump, sprints and relay. Lots of fun was had by all and plenty of medals awarded. Everyone tried their best and really gave it their all. The finale was the Human Caterpillar Race – great fun! The Captains’ speeches rounded off the afternoon and, at the very end of the proceedings, the House Cup was awarded to Rose House. 

All the girls did very well indeed, showing great determination and resilience. We are very proud of them all!
