Fizzwiggling Fun for Year 4
28.02.2025
On Thursday 27th February, Year 4 set off for a fun filled day at the Roald Dahl Centre and Discover Bucks museum.
We had two super workshops from the staff: the first was about the Romans in Buckinghamshire, including details of the life of a servant girl called Siitamina, whose clay drinking pot was discovered nearby.
In the afternoon we had plenty of fun and excitement exploring the stories of Roald Dahl and, amongst other things, entering Mr Fox’s tunnel and James’ Giant Peach. Our girls proved to be impressively well-read and we received very positive comments from staff and visitors.
On the way home we were delayed by a road closure, but the girls showed resilience and this set-back certainly didn’t dent their enthusiasm for what had been a really enjoyable day.
