Freestyle and Medley winners

On Friday, 26^th May, five Year 6 swimmers, Annabel, Cara, Astrid, Elisa and Elizabeth took part in the ESSA Team Championships.

Despite the late evening event at the end of a busy week, the girls put in an excellent performance. We are delighted to report that High March School came first in the Medium Schools category in Bucks for the Freestyle and Medley relay; this is an event which High March has won a number of times in the past and the girls were delighted to continue the tradition. 

In the overall gala, our girls competed against several schools, some of the teams having boys and girls. Even though the competition was stiff, our swimmers finished in second place in both Freestyle and Medley Relays and gained the silver medals.

Well done to all the girls for their competitive spirit, hard work and, of course, their excellent swimming!
