Exploring the Natural World

This week, our Reception girls had an exciting trip to Forest School. Dressed in their wellies and waterproofs, the children explored the natural world  with curiosity and joy.

The children built cosy mini dens for woodland animals, channelled their creativity,  making delicious “smoothies” in the mud kitchen and even went pond dipping. The highlight of the day was discovering a number of lively tadpoles and learning all about the fascinating life cycle of a frog.

It was a day full of hands-on learning, imagination, and muddy fun — and the children can’t wait to go back again!
