Fun times at Forest School

Nursery have thoroughly enjoyed their first two sessions at our new Forest School!

There is a wealth of activities on offer including making potions in the mud kitchen, creating bumble bees with the aid of pinecones and wool, planting seeds and, last but by no means least, building ramps and slides using guttering. The Forest School staff are engaging and create a warm and friendly environment; they finish each session with stories and songs which the children have loved. The highlight of our time in Forest School, however, has been, without doubt, searching for tadpoles in the pond area. The children have found this fascinating and have talked about it a great deal once we were back at school.
