Go, Shamrocks!
10.05.2024
Thursday, 2nd May saw the Shamrock House Charity Fundraising Day.
During the course of the week, the Year Six Shamrock House Captains, Nayna and Olivia, gave wonderfully prepared assemblies to both Upper School and Junior House, presenting a detailed look into the work of the two chosen charities, Save The Children and Four Paws. On the day itself, the girls led a variety of exciting activities over both small and big breaktimes. These included a Shammy bake sale, coin toss challenge, upside-down Shrek game (which proved to be very popular!), make up the name of the teddy and, last but certainly by no means least, the donut eating competition.
Fortunately, the weather was kinder than the forecast suggested and the day was a tremendous success, raising a very impressive total of £596 for the two designated charities.
Well done, Shamrock House Team!
