High March and Davenies Dads take to the football pitch

The annual High March and Davenies dads’ football tournament took place towards the end of last term and, once again, it provided plenty of entertainment!

Now into its fifth year, fourteen of the seventeen year groups across the schools were represented.  Matches were competitive throughout with team rivalries renewed….  The cup final ended up being a repeat of 2025, with High March Year 5 narrowly beating Davenies Year 1 (2-1).  The highlight for most of the participants was the opportunity to get together with friends across year groups, and fortunately the weather was onside.

A big thank-you must go to all High March and Davenies participants and supporters!  Further thanks to Beaconsfield Town FC, who allow use of the facilities, and to the High March Parents’ Association (HMPA) for their help organising the event.  The sum of £2,300 was collected from teams and spectators and this will be split equally between High March and Davenies charities.

Next year’s tournament will no doubt be just as competitive!
