High March success at the Wishford Art Exhibition
25.02.2025
The Wishford Education group held its annual Art Exhibition in Cirencester from February 25th –Â 26th. High March submitted entries from Reception up to Year 6. All the work submitted by the ten exhibiting schools was of a very high standard and so the competition was stiff. We were delighted to learn, therefore, that High March was the winning school in two out of the seven year group categories.
Hettie scooped the prize in the Reception category, and, fortuitously, she had travelled down to Cirencester and so was able to be presented with her prize in person – an exciting experience for our talented young artist. She was congratulated by Mrs Bissett, Head of Art and Design and Technology, and Mrs Gray, Art Co-Ordinator at Junior House. In addition, one of our talented Year 4 artists won the Year 4 category with her beautiful painting of a turtle. Her prize was collected on her behalf by Mrs Bissett and Mrs Gray.
The event was judged by local artist, Jenni Stuart, and was very well attended.
