Impressive athletics from Year 4

On Tuesday, 30 April, eight Year 4 pupils went to Maltman’s Green to compete in the U9 Athletics Tournament. They all took part in the following events: long jump; javelin; 50m sprint; and 400m. The sun put in a very welcome appearance, which was much appreciated by everyone present!

The girls all put in brilliant performances and very much enjoyed the experience. Our team came 3^rd overall with Emilia being voted athlete of the day by the other teams.

Well done, in particular, to Emilia but, also, to the whole team, who produced some superb athletics.
