Impressive footballing skills!

On Wednesday 29 November, two of our Year 6 football teams set off, full of excitement at the prospect of a fixture at Maltman’s Green.

The girls played a 6v6 match and they were quickly in the swing of things, working really hard during their games. The two goalkeepers volunteered and were tested with shots against them. They all worked well in their teams and displayed good skills and teamwork.

The result for the first team was 0-0; the girls demonstrated some great football and were ably captained by Anoushka. Elisa was voted Player of the Match (POM) by the opposition.

Our second team had a good 4-0 win, with Kiret getting voted POM for her excellent play and her goal. Alicia also played very well and scored a hattrick; Shaan captained the team.

The girls all enjoyed the fixture, not forgetting the refreshments, of course!
