Impressive Fundraising at the High March Ball

The High March Summer Ball “Le Cirque des Rêves”, held on 24th June 2023, raised an incredible and unprecedented £61,000!

The Ball Committee is delighted to share final details on fund allocations:

 

• £40,000 will be allocated to the new “Stoke Mandeville Children’s A&E Unit” through the Heart of Bucks Community Foundation. Our donation wil add child friendly sensory activities & toys in the waiting rooms and provide colourful artwork for in-patient children’s wards.

 

• £5,000 will be allocated to “Children Heard & Seen” again through Heart of Bucks. This money will fund online support, delivered by a trained practitioner, for children with a parent in prison living in Buckinghamshire

 

• £1,000 will be donated to the “NSPCC”, the School’s dedicated charity since 1948.

 

• £15,000 will fund a new installation of a “Sun Sail” at “High March” to create a covered in the Upper School playground. This will protect the girls from the sun by creating a large shaded area to enjoy during the increasingly hot weather.

 

The cheque to Heart of Bucks, for our chosen local children’s charities, was presented in Assembly on Monday 6 November.
