On Wednesday 30 September, the entire Year 6 cohort travelled to Godstowe for an exciting afternoon of netball. The girls represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the fixture.

All teams played matches and showcased the skills they have been developing in PE lessons and netball clubs over recent weeks. Their hard work and commitment were evident in some outstanding performances across the year group.

The A Team achieved an impressive 24-4 victory, while the B Team secured a well-deserved 6-3 win. Both C Teams were equally successful, winning their match 9-1. The D Team played a series of friendly matches, ensuring all players had the opportunity to gain valuable match experience.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and relished the chance to put their learning into a competitive environment. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they applied their skills and tactics so effectively in match situations. Well done to all of Year 6 for their excellent effort and positive attitude throughout the event.
