Junior Road Safety Team Promotes Safe and Active Travel

This week, our Junior Road Safety Team took to Ledborough Lane alongside Police Community Support Officer Dave Wenham to promote the importance of safe and active travel to school. The team celebrated the achievements of pupils who participated in our Travel Trail Challenge, which encouraged them to be observant of their surroundings during their journeys to and from school. 

PCSO Wenham also took the time to meet with our Year 6 pupils, sharing valuable tips on how to stay safe while walking independently. His advice focused on road safety awareness and personal safety, ensuring that our pupils are well-prepared as they take on more responsibility for their own journeys.
