Learning all about the art of storytelling

28.10.2026

Year 3 had a fantastic time at The Story Museum in Oxford recently.

The girls lost themselves in the Whispering Wood, listening to tales from around the world and trying to pull Excalibur from the stone! Dressing up in disguise, whilst solving clues in the Mystery Academy, was a huge source of excitement. The girls were fully engaged in a variety of workshops, creating portal stories and becoming young storytellers, activities which will help them when they plan and write their own imaginary stories in class.

Our thanks to the girls who were impeccably behaved throughout the day, impressing all with their thoughtful responses.
