Let’s keep the wheels turning!

This year’s Bike to School Week was a fantastic celebration of active travel and community spirit! We saw a brilliant increase in pupils arriving at school on bikes and scooters, helping to promote healthier lifestyles and reduce our carbon footprint.
The week kicked off with our popular Bikers’ Breakfast, where riders were treated to a delicious morning meal to fuel their day. Energy levels stayed high throughout the week, especially during our Static Bike Challenge, where participants collectively pedalled over 200 km – an incredible achievement! We also hosted bike maintenance workshops, giving pupils the chance to learn essential skills to keep their bikes in top condition. A huge thank-you must go to Mr Brookes and Mr Edney for generously giving their time and expertise to run these sessions.
Bike Week was a great success, and we are proud of everyone who took part. Let’s keep the wheels turning and continue choosing active travel whenever we can!
