Nursery break the ice!
19.01.2026

Nursery embraced the chilly weather last week by exploring Antarctica and learning all about polar animals.
The week began with an exciting challenge: rescuing frozen animals from blocks of ice. The children thought carefully about how to solve the problem, deciding they could melt the ice with warm water and/or break it apart using tools — a task they found especially fun. They also experimented with printing techniques to create igloos and used collage to craft their own adorable penguins.
To round off a busy week, everyone enjoyed making their own “hot” chocolates, complete with squirty cream and sprinkles.
