Personal bests for our Year 5 swimmers

We were treated to some exceptional swims from our Year 5 girls at the recent IAPs City of London Freemen’s School qualifying gala. This was a small but highly competitive event comprising freestyle and medley relays plus one individual event for each swimmer.

 

We are delighted to announce that Isabelle F, Zoe B, Evie S and Iris J each swam personal best times in their individual events. They also performed exceptionally well in the team events, wining the freestyle and coming second in the medley relay. 

 

Qualification is all about the times, and we now need to wait for results from other events to see if we will go through to the next stage; this is a national competition and qualification will be no mean feat! We are exceptionally proud of  these swimmers; they rose to the occasion, demonstrating fantastic team support and camaraderie. They proved themselves to be wonderful ambassadors for High March. Well done, girls.
