Qualifying for the IAPS swimming finals

We have now received our results from the IAPS Championships which took place earlier this year. Several Year 5 and Year 6 swimmers from High March took part and we have been keenly anticipating the results as it is a very competitive event and only the first twenty qualify.

We are delighted to announce that a number of our swimmers were successful in qualifying. In Year 5, Iris qualified for 50m Butterfly, Evie for 50m Backstroke, Zoe the 50m Freestyle and we have also qualified for the Medley Relay. In Year 6, Astrid was successful in qualifying for the 50m Freestyle and we also made it through to the Freestyle and Medley Relay races. Unfortunately, a few of our swimmers, despite producing some excellent swims on the day,  just missed out.

Well done to all our swimmers who took part in the qualifying event: it is evident that you have put in a great deal of hard work and are clearly very committed to your swimming.

We look forward to the IAPS finals with eager anticipation on June 8th.
