Reception girls impress with their Nativity play

The Reception girls performed their Nativity play yesterday with gusto and joy to a thoroughly appreciative audience.

The Christmas story was narrated by animals in the barn, who watched the story unfold starting with the moment when Mary was told by the Angel Gabriel she was to have a baby. The animals found a stable where they could stay – once they had picked the right door to enter! – and with the help of two friendly innkeepers. The Wise Men followed the dancing star, the angels sang to the shepherds, and everyone found the way to worship the new born king.

The performance was a triumph and certainly put everyone in the Christmas spirit!
