Some excellent swimming at the Division 10 Gala

On Tuesday 14^th October, our swimmers from Years 4, 5, and 6 took part in the Division 10 swimming gala. Despite the delayed start, our swimmers adapted quickly and gave of their absolute best.

Despite some strong competition, we secured first places in Year 4 Backstroke, Year 5 Backstroke, Year 5 Breaststroke, Year 5 Butterfly, Year 4 freestyle, Year 5 freestyle and Year 6 freestyle. Our performance was just as strong in the medley and freestyle relays: we finished first in the Y5 Medley relay and in the freestyle relays for all year groups!!

It’s worth mentioning that some of our swimmers who did not finish in first place were still highly placed, thus adding points to our overall total. The results of all the hard work which takes place in training sessions was clear to see!

Well done to all our swimmers! We now await the results, which, on the basis of the girls’ performance, are likely to be extremely positive.
