Some excellent times at the cross-country meet

Last week, the Year 4 and the Year 5/6 Cross Country Teams travelled to Westbrook Hay for a large cross country meet.  

 

The Year 4 Team ran 1600m, producing some excellent runs. Our girls finished 2^nd, 7^th, 11^th, 20^th, 25^th and 26^th. They scored 65 points and all of their times were between 6mins 42secs and 7mins 41secs. 

 

The Year 5/6 Team distance was a little longer at 2000m and all the girls ran confidently, finishing 3^rd, 7^th, 20^th , 21^st , 31^st  and 32^nd . They produced a score of 82 points and all of their times were between 7mins 43secs and 9mins 01sec. 

 

The girls all thoroughly enjoyed the event itself, not forgetting the refreshments – a lovely afternoon was had by all.
